Responsibilities

• Spearhead the preparation and analysis of comprehensive financial reports
  
• Conduct in-depth financial analysis to guide strategic business decisions
  
• Ensure strict compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements
  
• Develop and implement robust accounting policies and procedures
  
• Lead the preparation of complex financial statements and budgets
  
• Mentor junior team members and oversee bookkeeping activities
  
• Collaborate with management to optimize financial performance and efficiency
  
• Drive continuous improvement in financial processes and systems
  

Requirements

• CPA certification 
  
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; advanced degree a plus
  
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting, with expertise in advanced financial operations
  
• Proficiency in advanced accounting software and data analysis tools
  
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights
  
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  
• Outstanding communication skills for explaining financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders
  
• Ability to work independently and lead projects in a remote environment
  
• Comfortable working within Pacific Time Zone hours
  
• Experience with cloud-based accounting systems, preferably QuickBooks Online
