Job description

Phenom Consulting has been retained by a leading Insurance agency to build out their Account Management team. Our client is known for its exceptional team and rapid organic growth and is seeking dedicated Commercial Account Managers to be based out of Dallas or Austin.

What’s Required:
  • 5+ years of experience as an Account Manager with a strong understanding of Commercial Property & Casualty insurance coverages, underwriting, and rating concepts.

  • Proficiency with insurance management platforms.

  • Must hold a Property & Casualty Insurance License or be willing to obtain one within a specified timeframe.

  • Effective time management abilities and a collaborative team spirit.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

What You’ll Do:
  • Managing change requests and following up with carriers.

  • Processing endorsements and updating service summaries.

  • Handling cancellations, reinstatements, and check requests.

  • Managing client portal access and policy checking, including delivery.

  • Importing, exporting lists, and resolving billing issues.

  • Requesting loss runs and managing policy line changes.

  • Setting up and renewing certificates, including flood and bond renewals.

  • Managing finance agreements and cancellation processes.

  • Overseeing renewal activities for account managers.

  • Requesting renewal applications from carriers and clients.
