Job Title: Founding Sales Development Representative (SDR)

Location - Fully Remote 

Salary - £30,000 - £40,000 per annum + commission 



The company

We are a dynamic SaaS company at the start of our journey that has developed a cutting-edge solution for managing workflow, project delivery, and collaboration. Our modern software platform empowers businesses to streamline their processes and enhance productivity. With 12 enterprise clients already on board, generating an impressive Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) of almost £500,000, we are now looking to secure our first round of investment to dramatically scale our team. 

We are now seeking a motivated and results-driven individual to join us as our founding Sales Development Representative (SDR).

Job Overview

As our founding SDR, you will play a pivotal role in the growth and success of our business. Your primary responsibility will be to prospect and identify new potential clients who can benefit from our innovative SaaS solution. Through extensive fact-finding and understanding the unique needs and challenges of each prospect's business, you will qualify and assess their suitability for our offering. Working closely with the founder, you will then collaborate to create a compelling value proposition tailored to meet their specific requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct outbound prospecting activities to identify and engage potential clients who could benefit from our SaaS solution.
  • Utilize a range of sales and lead generation techniques, including cold calling, email campaigns, social media outreach, and networking events.
  • Qualify leads through comprehensive fact-finding, understanding their business operations, pain points, and requirements.
  • Educate prospects on the features, benefits, and value proposition of our SaaS solution.
  • Collaborate closely with the founder to develop customized proposals and presentations that align with the needs of each prospect.
  • Schedule and coordinate product demonstrations and meetings for qualified leads.
  • Implement a new CRM and maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all prospecting activities, conversations, and lead progress.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor offerings, and market developments to effectively position our solution.
  • Continuously refine and improve the prospecting and qualification processes to enhance overall sales efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Work collaboratively with the sales and marketing teams to ensure a smooth transition of qualified leads into the sales pipeline.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a sales or business development role, preferably in a B2B SaaS environment.
  • Strong passion for sales, prospecting, and building relationships with potential clients.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
  • Exceptional listening and questioning skills to uncover prospect pain points and business needs.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and driven to achieve targets and exceed expectations.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales prospecting tools.
  • A team player with the ability to collaborate and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Basic understanding of workflow management, project delivery, or collaboration software is desirable.

Salary: The salary for this position is between £30,000 and £40,000, commensurate with experience, plus potential performance-based bonuses.
