Intermediate to Senior level SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central consultant with 3+ full life cycle implementations of Employee Central.

 

The candidate will be a hands-on application expert confident in leading implementations through the use of best practice and deep knowledge of HR processes both on the business and technology sides. The candidate will have the ability to troubleshoot and recommend alternatives to resolve conflicts between business requirements and standard system functionality. Position is open to candidates based in Canada or the United States only, Canada resource preferred. Some travel within North America required (10-15%). Candidate must be fully bilingual French/English to service customers in Canada and Europe.

 

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Be a hands-on application expert in the SuccessFactors Employee Central
  • Intermediate to advance level knowledge of at least two other SuccessFactors modules
  • Working both individually and as part of a team of SuccessFactors and Payroll consultants solutions and managing the full implementation lifecycle.
  • Prepare / review project deliverables and be accountable for working within project scope.
  • Advises Project Leads and Project Managers to implement best practice decisions that successfully impact the overall platform, based on experience and in consultation with experts; appropriately tailored for the client and their culture.
  • Lead design workshops with the client and provide guidance in the definition of solution design practices and standards that link back to SAP best practices.
  • Supports Project Leads in translating business goals into appropriate solutions, while assessing feasibility and optimization of the solution.
  • Provide impact assessment with Quarterly Releases.
  • Enrich and develop reusable content/IP/tools (accelerators, enablers).
  • Contribute to knowledge base of the Syntax SAP Practice.
  • Provides support for pre-sales initiatives that include developing and reviewing roadmaps, estimates, and responses to RFP/RFQ’s.
  • Able to complete/assist in demonstration set ups and create and delivers high quality demonstrations and presentations.
  • Responsible for supporting functional and technical leads in workshops.
  • Designs and supports proof of concepts to demonstrate proposed technical solutions.
  • Assists and review the preparation of workshop/training materials.
  • Proactively identifies process improvements, including clear and concise solution definitions.
  • Gathers and analyzes the clients’ business requirements and objectives.

 

Essential Functions
 

  • Able to develop system configurations to conform to client specifications and best practices while staying within project scope.
  • Able to troubleshoot and provides resolution of system issues or defects, as assigned.
  • Adheres to software implementation standards and best practices.
  • Provides post-go-live application support under our Managed Services model.
  • Completes continuing education activities to attain and maintain professional certifications.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

 

Skills And Experience
 

  • 8+ years of SAP SuccessFactors experience and at least 3+ end-to-end implementations of Employee Central.
  • Nice to have: Deep knowledge and experience of SAP Payroll (both on-premise and EC Payroll), including payroll schema / PCR Schema process. Canadian and US payroll experience desired, Mexico and other countries also beneficial.
  • Nice to have: Knowledge and experience of processes and configurations in the area of Employee Central Payroll and its integration with other SF modules, including replication and Payroll Control Center.
  • Experience implementing integrations with third party applications such timekeeping systems
  • Experience with data migration and data management activities in SuccessFactors.
  • Experience and knowledge of SAP Activate Methodology for SuccessFactors.
  • In depth understanding of HR functions and business processes.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products.
  • Analytical and solutions oriented; ability to solve complex problems by providing detailed insight and constructive criticism into problems/complex situations.
  • Ability to assess and assist clients with existing systems and optimize their solutions using existing knowledge of system functionality and best practice recommendations.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a project team, deploying the features and functions of SuccessFactors products as outlined in the Statement of Work.
  • Ability to manage time and multiple projects with a high degree of attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in teams and independently.
  • Strong organizational, planning and management skills.
  • Strong presentation and meeting facilitation skills; displays confidence and poise in formal speaking situations; creates effective and compelling presentations by keeping meetings clearly focused on the agenda.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills; attentively listens and shares knowledge/expertise.

 

Education and or Training

 

  • Must be currently certified in Employee Central
  • Additional SuccessFactors certifications highly desired (ONB, Comp, LMS)
  • Industry certifications also desirable (PMP, SAP HR, ITIL, etc.).
