About us

We are developing an on-demand, personalised AI speech and language therapy solution by leveraging digital therapeutics (i.e., mobile app technology), aimed at minimising the negative impact that speech disorders have on families' lives.

Existing digital solutions have yet to achieve broad adoption in the speech therapy market. We are set to disrupt this space by offering a comprehensive solution that empowers both parents and therapists, covering most conditions within a unified platform.

Role overview

We are seeking a talented Junior Back-End & Generative AI Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate would have a technical degree, the right to work in the UK, and a keen interest in content generation and AI.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with the content team to develop and scale up content creation using the latest generative AI technologies.
• Integrate various back-end services to ensure a robust and scalable application architecture.
• Develop and maintain scripts with effective prompts to automate and manage content creation.
• Fine-tune OpenAI assistants to enhance the effectiveness of our content process & pipeline.
• Develop and connect APIs to support email marketing, sales, and SEO efforts.
• Assist in mobile app development and support the engineering team with integrating and maintaining back-end services.
• Work with cross-functional teams to understand end-user requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Help maintain code quality, organisation, and automation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proficient understanding programming languages like Python, Ruby, Java, .NET, JavaScript, etc.
• Stay updated with the advancements in AI technologies and suggest improvements to our content generation processes.
• Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn new technologies.
• Fluent in English and eligible to work in the UK.
• Excellent communication and teamwork capabilities.
• A passion for technology and its potential to improve lives.

Nice to Have

• Experience with prompt engineering or working with generative AI.
• Familiarity and experience with generative AI models.
• Knowledge of Firebase and API management.
• Previous experience in mobile app development, particularly with React.
• Experience in working with Agile/Scrum development teams.
• Living in Barcelona or willing to relocate.

Location & work arrangement

The position is hybrid with the expectations to meet as a minimum one day a week in our office in Barcelona.
