This Integrated Marketplace Analyst role will be focused on making sure we can deliver data products to meet the needs of our growing retail, digital, and marketing organizations. 

You will seek to understand the needs that the business has around using data to grow our retail business, delight our customers, and attract new riders to cycling. You will develop a deep knowledge of the business area, get to know the stakeholders, define gaps between the current state and what the business area needs, and provide a plan for how to meet those needs. You will be the first line of support for retailers & sales reps for any POS related issues and develop a perspective on what improvements need to be made to better serve the rider. Your project management duties include working with retailers and our IT teams to plan sprints, collaborating to ensure that improvements are made help retailers provide consistent and accurate data back to Specialized. 

How You'll Make a Difference

  • Act as the primary point of contact between the independent retailers, sales team, vendors, and IT organizations
  • You enjoy analyzing large datasets to gain in-depth understanding of business processes; this role thrives when immersed in data and communicating insights 
  • Understanding business processes and recommending improvements, always seeking to improve
  • Know your domain – be the subject matter expert for the POS integrations we provide and troubleshooting issues directly with retailers and vendors
  • Be the voice of the customer in your functional area to the IT team and sales organization

What You Need to Win

  • The desire to dive deep into systems to fully understand the landscape, how the pieces fit together, and what improvements could improve the lives of our stakeholders
  • Strong ability to understand and work with large volumes of data
  • Eagerness to work with vendors and retail partners
  • Ability to document, communicate, and vocally advocate for prioritization
  • A passion to help our business partners and analysts get the data they need to make decisions

Preferred Qualifications:

  • BA/BS from a four year university 
  • 1+ years in a customer support or retail role
  • Highly proficient in Excel (experience with index/match functions, pivot tables, etc), JIRA, and financial software applications (Oracle and Tableau preferred)
  • Experience working collaboratively with shop owners, sales reps, and IT professionals
  • World-class documentation and communication skills

Pay

Below is a summary of compensation elements for this role at the company if based in the following locations:

California Base Pay Range: $44,782 - $73,890

Colorado Base Pay Range: $42,543 - $67,733

New York City and Westchester County Base Pay Range: $44,782 - $73,890

Washington Base Pay Range: $44,782 - $70,811
