Senior Test Engineer

What you'll do

• You will report to Senior Manager QA Testing to contribute towards the overall architecture of hardware, software, and networking systems by composing a complex test plan script, executing the tests, documenting the results and analyzing the output.
• Contribute to an integrated agile team by taking stories from refinement through final deployment.
• Understanding application flow and interactions between different components.
• Building test scenarios and acceptance tests from both an individual component view and from a full system view.
• Investigating customer problems referred by the technical support team.
• Testing bugs and creating and managing bug reports.
• Maintain and extend a test automation framework.

• Bachelor's degree in information technology; Computer Science, Engineering, related field, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years testing experience in a full-stack environment (Whitebox testing of both front and back end of the application, including any supporting software and services).ed)), related field, or equivalent experience
• Worked with a microservices based product
• Knowledge of programming languages; specifically, the ability to read and write scripts in Python or Javascript
• Familiarity with standard test case and project management tools (Azure Devops, Jira, etc)
• Talent to recognize risks and errors in an application.
• Proficiency in English in a business environment
• Passion for learning new technologies and areas of a diverse application.
