Job Description: 

Intel is seeking a Tax Manager to join the Transfer Pricing team. This position reports to the US/Americas Director of Transfer Pricing and will be an integral part of Intel's global tax team. The Intel tax team is headquartered in Santa Clara, California. This position is open to candidates across the U.S.

The primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Be a critical part of Intel's transfer pricing management team, supporting the development and implementation of Intel's global strategic transfer pricing framework in the complex and evolving transfer pricing landscape.
  • Responsible for supporting Intel's various transfer pricing positions, and coordinating with the ongoing planning, reporting and compliance requirements.
  • Support and engage in Intel's global strategic compliance efforts, including but not limited to advanced pricing agreements.
  • Participate in and contribute to specific project management needs in tandem with our tax M and A and planning teams involving but not limited to critical valuations, the crafting and vetting of intercompany agreements, communications with stakeholders, as well as documentation.
  • Engage with tax leadership and other internal stakeholders, as well as Intel's outside advisors with respect to domestic and foreign transfer pricing controversy matters.
  • Support and engage with Intel's other tax functions, including but not limited to tax compliance and reporting, indirect tax, M and A, controversy and international tax.
  • Help manage the budget for all external transfer pricing consultants, including tax advisors and legal counsel.
  • Engage with Intel's financial statement auditors, with respect to transfer pricing topics.

Qualifications:

You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.  This position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship. .

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Advanced Degree in Economics, Finance, or similar field.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience focused on transfer pricing from a combination of a large public accounting firm or in-house experience.

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA, Master's Degree in Taxation, Ph.D. or Juris Doctor is preferred.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in

US, Colorado, New York, Washington, California:$143,444.00-$214,556.00

Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience.

Work Model for this Role

This role is available as a fully home-based and generally would require you to attend Intel sites only occasionally based on business need. This role may also be available as our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
