Your mission:

As a Quality Engineer at Resourcify you'll be responsible for a game-changing product that helps multinational clients to improve their recycling. You’ll have responsibility for driving forward our quality for better Customer Experience. You understand that quality cannot be “tested in”, but is a team responsibility. You love to share your knowledge with other Engineers and involve them in quality and test automation topics so that you are the expert but not the bottleneck. You also feel comfortable pairing on developing and launching new features and services as well and shaping our product in an early phase. You'll be working in a fast-growing technology startup, and playing your part to help us drive forward the future of recycling.  

Your responsibilities:  

• You are part of an interdisciplinary team to create a great product.
• You advocate Engineering principles and practices that support quality within your team.
• You teach Engineers software test automation skills.
• You pair on writing tests and features with other Engineers.
• You collaborate with all teams at Resourcify on testing and help building infrastructure.
• You include state of the art technology into our product and tech stack.

What you'll bring along to be successful: 

• You have 1-3 years of relevant experience as a Quality Engineer, preferably in a startup or scale-up environment.
• You have deep knowledge of test automation and feel comfortable writing code.
• You have ideally worked with JavaScript/TypeScript, Angular, and Java or similar.
• You enjoy having autonomy and ownership over the topics you are working on.
• You are a team player and strong communicator who genuinely enjoys collaborating with colleagues from different countries, backgrounds and skill sets.
• You are a self-starter, demonstrating strong abilities in prioritizing tasks effectively.
• You would enjoy challenging yourself professionally in a fast-paced startup environment that values initiative and experimentation.
• You are fluent in written and spoken English. German would be a plus.
