The role

As an SDR at Humanitec, you'll be playing a crucial role of breaking into enterprise accounts and fostering relationships with multiple contacts within all levels of our target customer segments. You will work closely with our marketing team to convert our inbound funnel into pipeline, while at the same time enhancing the impact of our campaigns and messaging on leads. You collaborate with experienced Enterprise Account Executives to quickly qualify hand raisers and research new targets to break into top enterprise accounts.

What you'll do

  • Drive Humanitec's growth through inbound (75%) and outbound (25%) prospecting efforts, generating sales qualified leads that will turn into opportunities and closed business.

  • Qualify inbound leads via email sequences, Linkedin messages, phone calls, relevant content materials, events and other creative engagements

  • Create emails sequences, cold-calls scripts, and Linkedin engagements to streamline the process of qualification

  • Research new tools, bring fresh ideas to the table to hit quota numbers and stay up to date with the sales prospecting frameworks

  • Grow into an Inside Sales Representative that takes a strategic and structured approach to identifying new business opportunities, engaging internal and client stakeholders.

  • Independently conduct first calls with high value enterprise level prospects.

What you'll bring

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as an SDR, or a similar role and a passion for personal/professional growth.

  • Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on creativity and a growth mindset.

  • Proficiency in crafting persuasive email copy and sequence campaigns that drive conversions.

  • Comfortable thriving in a fast-paced environment and adaptable to change.

  • Highly organized, structured, and capable of working independently while also being a team player.

  • Familiarity with a variety of tools including LinkedIn, HubSpot, SFDC, Dripify/Expandi, Crunchbase, Zoominfo, Sales Navigator, Outreach, CommonRoom, Clay, Cognizm, and proficient in using Google Spreadsheets.

  • Ability to adapt and improve strategies as needed.

  • English proficiency equivalent to that of a native speaker.

  • You have experience in the B2B SaaS sector, such as working for a developer tooling company, and you're eager to engage with technical decision-makers through prospecting efforts.

  • You have experience at a rapidly expanding startup.

  • You've demonstrated success in collaborating effectively within remote and distributed teams in the past.

  • You have experience and/or a passion for technical topics within the cloud native and platform engineering space.
