Senior Software Engineer/Tech Lead

As a Senior Software Engineer, Tech Lead at Stanza, you will work across our open core platform to ensure robust interoperability across the SDK, UI, and configuration plane. Through strong collaboration and problem solving, you will build new, innovative products that allow any development team to uplevel their engineering capabilities through better software reliability. 

In this role, you will work with world leading experts in the reliability engineering discipline and have a high impact on our flagship customers and product. You’ll work with the latest technologies and interact with internal and external partners. You will design, implement, test, support, and ensure the delivery of user experiences and services that span our platform and provide technical leadership across teams or projects to create an excellent, safe, and simple product that drives the pace of innovation for our customers.

Responsibilities

• Lead and participate in design and code reviews with peers and stakeholders to reason through UX design and technology decisions to ensure requirements are best met

• Design, write and test product or system development code.

• Contribute to existing documentation or educational content and adapt content based on product/program updates and user feedback.

• Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing the sources of issues and the impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality.

• Collaborate with partners across organizational boundaries.

Minimum Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on development experience with a broad range of software and technologies (web or mobile application development, web services, infrastructure). Solid understanding of programming fundamentals, design/architecture patterns, and API design. 

• 3+ years experience designing, implementing, and supporting highly available, robust, applications in public (AWS, GCP, Azure) and/or hybrid cloud environments.

• Degree in Computer Science, related technical field or equivalent technical experience.

• Experience coding in one or more of the following languages with particular depth in at least one: Go, Node, TypeScript/Javascript, React, Python, Java, C#. Ability to transition between programming languages and tool sets.

• Demonstrated experience with all phases of the product development lifecycle, including UX and technical design, implementation, debugging, verification, validation, release, and maintenance.

• Track record of partnering with cross functional teams to translate requirements into well designed solutions and to make deeply technical topics accessible to non-technical stakeholders

• Self-motivated individual with good knowledge of trends, technology advances, new products, and best practices in application build processes and standards. Ability to quickly learn new technology and then implement new techniques.
