Job Purpose Summary**

As the HR Manager, Commercial US, you'll play a crucial role in providing strategic HR support to our field sales, marketing, and commercial operations functions within the wound closure and ophthalmology businesses. Your expertise in HR, combined with a focus on sales, marketing, and commercial operations, will be instrumental in driving our business forward. This role requires travel (25%) and demands strong business acumen, exceptional relationship-building skills, and the ability to manage complex and ambiguous information. LOCATION: This role is remote but needs to located near Parsippany, NJ or Westwood, MA to attend meetings with key business stakeholders, as needed.

What You Will Do**

• Strategic HR Leadership: Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with business objectives, specifically designed to support field sales, marketing, and commercial operations.
• Talent Acquisition and Management: Partner with hiring managers to develop recruitment strategies and effectively onboard and retain top talent in field sales, marketing, and commercial roles.
• Employee Relations: Act as a trusted advisor to employees and managers in field sales, marketing, and commercial operations, providing guidance on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Performance Management: Drive performance management processes for field sales, marketing, and commercial teams, including goal setting, evaluations, and development planning.
• Learning and Development: Identify training needs and collaborate with stakeholders to design and deliver relevant programs to enhance the skills and capabilities of field sales, marketing, and commercial teams.
• Change Management: Lead change efforts to support organizational initiatives within field sales, marketing, and commercial operations, navigating ambiguity and driving change initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• HR Metrics and Analytics: Utilize data and analytics to measure HR program effectiveness for field sales, marketing, and commercial teams, providing insights and recommendations to drive informed decision-making.
• Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations within field sales, marketing, and commercial operations, implementing HR policies to mitigate risks and maintain a compliant work environment.

What you will need

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• 8+ years of progressive HR experience, with a minimum of 3 years at a manager level or sr business partner level, with significant experience supporting field sales, marketing, and commercial operations.
• Strong business acumen and understanding of sales and marketing dynamics.
• Comfortable interacting across all levels of management, including executive leadership.
• Exceptional relationship-building skills with the ability to navigate complex and ambiguous situations.
• Proven track record of driving continuous improvement initiatives.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and willingness to travel.

• Excellent customer service, problem solving, and judgement skills.
