Who You Are:

You have extensive experience with Google Analytics and either hold or are in the process of becoming a Certified Google Analytics Specialist.  You understand the differences between GA4 vs GA3 and have experience creating custom reports with Google Data Studio.


This role will utilize your expertise and passion for turning web and visitor data into actionable insights that improve business efficiency and drive key business decisions. 


As a Marketing Web Data Analyst, you are all about the data, capable of collaborating seamlessly with other team members and continually focused on reporting on traffic sources from specific marketing campaigns and then using this data to make recommendations. You are passionate about providing data-driven insights regarding our marketing performance and developing strategies for optimizing our marketing campaigns. Additionally, the analyst will work closely with the marketing team to use the data from Google Analytics to develop and implement data-driven strategies and tactics to increase ROI.


At HighLevel, we require our marketing team members to work US hours and to be on camera for all customer, peer, and manager/leader interactions. Our ideal candidate for this role is Google Analytics certified or in the process of completing this certification..


What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Responsible for analyzing complex data sets, implementing optimizations based upon analysis, and formulating digital strategies designed to impact business results.
  • Gather and analyze data from multiple sources (Tableau & Chart Mogul), including web analytics (Google Analytics), social media analytics, marketing automation, and CRM tools (HighLevel).
  • Configure GA4 properties, streams, and tags to track website and app usage effectively.
  • Analyze customer data to identify trends and segment audiences.
  • Monitor overall marketing performance and provide actionable insights.
  • Create custom reports and dashboards with Google Data Studio to visualize data and track key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Analyze Google Analytics data to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for improving website performance.
  • Monitor industry trends and best practices to improve marketing performance.
  • Act as a data-driven thought partner for marketing to drive performance and growth. 
  • Support marketing team by developing insightful dashboards and reliable reporting tools, defining KPIs and OKRs, and integrating technologies and automations into marketing processes. 
  • Provide relevant recommendations based on in-depth analysis of customer usage and monetization data to guide marketing leadership’s decision making.
  • Contributor to strategic decisions in marketing, customer expansion, retention, and sales. 
  • Work closely with cross-functional business partners in marketing, sales, business development, account management and partner teams to develop ad-hoc analysis and provide data-driven recommendations. 
  • Assess current marketing technologies and analyze data on whether they improve marketing workflows and processes. 
  • Work closely with the lifecycle marketing team and cross-functionally within the organization on planning and executing multi-channel campaigns and monitoring their performance. 
  • Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices in growth marketing and business expansion.

Experience/Education/Certifications Required:

  • Must be available to permanently work US hours. 9:00am - 5:00pm Monday - Friday CST (which would be Mon-Fri 11pm-7am Philippine time or Mon- Fri 8:30pm-5:30am IST if the candidate is based in India).
  • Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent SaaS Experience required. 
  • Google Analytics certified or close to completion
  • At least 3 years of Google Analytics experience
  • At least 1 year of experience working with Google Data Studio
  • At least 1 year of experience working with data from Chart Mogul is highly desired.
  • Proficient with Google Sheets and/or Excel for data analysis. 
  • Strong collaboration, time-management and prioritization skills are critical to the success of this role.
  • The ability to build and maintain strong relationships internally with teams and externally with customers.
  • Must be a go-getter, not afraid to ask questions, and take accountability.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate well with colleagues and customers, both written and verbal.
  • Proven ability to interpret data and develop actionable insights.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Practitioner-level knowledge of emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in growth marketing. 
  • Experience working with multiple departments to source the needed data and then use spreadsheets to provide the supporting document behind decisions.
  • Strong analytical skills and detail-oriented.
  • Demonstrated persistence, tenacity, and an ability to overcome obstacles.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Google Analytics (GA).
  • Tableau experience is preferred but not required.
  • Chart Mogul experience is preferred but not required.
  • Enjoys technology and staying on top of a rapidly changing industry.
