One Identity is seeking a Principal Cloud Expert to work on our award-winning product line of Safeguard. The ideal candidate is a creative person who will work on an agile team of brilliant developers and QA engineers to create the best world class security products. You will help us make a big impact in the security marketplace as we grow from that foundation and into new markets world-wide. Come join our hard working team and tell us your story!

Based on requirements from product management, you will collaborate with technical architects and other engineers to arrive at a suitable design, build the functionality in code, write unit tests, and oversee the deployment of your new code into production, after successful peer code review and demo.

You will also help to train and guide others, participate and contribute to design discussions and help to plan upcoming development work.

• You will have the freedom to design, develop and test software as part of new product development using leading-edge technologies.
• You will foster with your participation the review of product requirements, design, code and supporting documentation.
• You will collaborate with your knowledge to determine the future direction of the development environment.
• You will be committed to support released products, including assessing and resolving discovered defects.

• You will have at least five years commercial experience writing .NET applications in C#.
• You should have demonstrable knowledge of secure coding practices.
• You should have strong analytical, organizational and time management skills.
• You will have good communications skills.
• You should have ability to work independently as a remote employee using teleworking practices.

Technologies you will use

• Familiarity with Azure platform and Azure DevOps.
• Familiarity with cloud development and/or service-based architectures.
• Familiarity with version controlling, Git or similar. 
• Familiarity with the following technologies:
• ASP.NET Core
• Asynchronous programming 
• REST API
• NoSQL databases, especially MongoDB
• Unit testing, especially XUnit
• Static analysis tools
• OAuth/JWT/OpenID Connect/SAML.
• Streaming protocols
• Architecture styles (Microservices, Event-Driven)
• Cloud Design Patterns
• CI/CD knowledge (Azure, Jenkins)
