The Role

The Salesforce Solution Consultant will provide support to the organization through the development of solution designs that both fulfill the stakeholder needs and enable the Development team to rapidly build out functionality.  The position will be able to successfully communicate with both business leaders and technical architects and developers.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead the design and architecture of Salesforce solutions that meet business requirements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business processes and translate them into effective technical solutions.
  • Conduct technical analysis to provide right design solutions leveraging OOB capabilities as appropriate
  • Design and optimize data models to support business requirements.
  • Facilitate design reviews with the stakeholders, refining requirements
  • Break down design approaches into work items for the developers to complete
  • Facilitate development by answering questions, providing demos, and ensuring QA team members understand the overall solution approach
  • Help maintain overall documentation of solution designs
  • Can-do SF configurations like flows, security config, etc. for proof-of-concept work
  • Stay current with Salesforce technologies and best practices

What You’ll Bring

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Salesforce Consultant or similar role
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Salesforce Admin or a similar role
  • Bachelor’s Degree in any technology focused field
  • Strong understanding of data architecture
  • Experience communicating with IT stakeholders, writing user stories and detailed system/functional design
  • Strong leadership skills with good decision making and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively present and explain solutions

Nice To Have

  • Salesforce certifications such as Admin, Advanced Admin, or Sales Cloud Consultant
  • Demonstrable expert level knowledge of Salesforce and its underlying platform architecture and technical workings.
  • Experience in object-oriented software engineering.
