Accounting Supervisor

We are seeking a talented and experienced Accountant with leadership skills to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, leadership experience, and preferably, experience in e-commerce. This role will involve overseeing Filipino bookkeepers and ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of financial operations, with a focus on U.S. tax compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise a team of Filipino bookkeepers, providing guidance and support to ensure accurate and timely completion of financial tasks.

• Review and reconcile financial statements, ensuring compliance with U.S. tax regulations and accounting standards.
• Collaborate with clients to gather necessary financial information and provide strategic advice on tax planning and optimization.
• Manage and oversee the preparation of tax returns, including income tax, sales tax, and other relevant filings.
• Analyze financial data and trends to identify opportunities for cost savings, revenue growth, and improved financial performance.
• Stay updated on changes to U.S. tax laws and regulations, and ensure that the team is informed and compliant with current requirements.
• Develop and implement processes and procedures to streamline financial operations and improve efficiency.
• Provide training and support to Filipino staff on U.S. tax laws, accounting principles, and best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA certification preferred.

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, with demonstrated leadership experience.
• Knowledge of U.S. tax laws and regulations, with experience in tax preparation and compliance.
• Experience working with e-commerce businesses is highly preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work under tight deadlines.

• Client Relationship: You will be directly working with the client. This means that you will communicate with the client, provide services, and address any client-related matters independently.

• Payment: All payments for your services will be handled directly by the client. Elevate and Delegate is not involved in processing your payroll. Your salary will directly go to you.
• Vacation Leaves and Holidays: While we may have recommendations or guidelines regarding vacation leaves and holidays, the decision is entirely at the discretion of the client. You are expected to align your schedule with the client's business needs and any specific policies or preferences they may have in this regard.

Salary: $1500 - $2000
