Job Description

The Procurement Center of Excellence Analyst is responsible for driving Operational Efficiency across Supply Chain through leveraging the use of SAP Ariba functionalities and modules, as well as legacy sourcing systems. This includes key stakeholder interaction (i.e. Manufacturing, Finance, MP&L), providing technical support, training, process mapping, process development and process improvement; becoming Subject Matter Experts and presenting data through Business Intelligence software. **

Responsibilities**

  • Lead projects with Project Management methodology within the Indirect Procurement categories (Business Services, Engineering Services, Marketing, Real State, IT, IM/MRO, Industrial Equipment) that will increase Operational Efficiency
  • Develop strategies and implement solutions that leverage and optimize sourcing systems for both Ariba and CPARS (legacy system). Continuous monitoring is required to adjust as needed.
  • Work closely with buyers, suppliers and PIMS in the creation of Ariba Buying channels (catalogs and contracts) to support optimization efforts
  • Support the development and implementation of the Master Category Strategy as required
  • Promote and reinforce usage of Ariba functionalities with respective skill teams and end users- Manufacturing, Finance and Production Plants
  • Develop strong collaborative relationships with key stakeholders to strategically manage implementation of Buying Channels and ensure adoption
  • Be trained and provide support for Ariba functionalities and modules, including troubleshooting issues, developing training materials, and working together with PIMS to configure the system
  • Train skill teams on the use of Ariba functionalities and Buying Channels
  • Improve current or create new procurement processes to address business needs as required
  • Analyze procurement data and reports to identify opportunities for improvement. Utilize Business Intelligence, to analyze procurement data and present progress through dashboards. Creation of dashboards and ad-hoc reports.
  • Apply experience of practical knowledge, skills, and expertise in analyzing and interpreting data to make informed business decisions
  • Stay up to date on the latest SAP Ariba developments and industry trends

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (Business, Engineering (Preferred), Logistics, Supply Chain)
  • 2+ years of experience in Procurement Area (Indirect Supply Chain desirable)
  • Languages: Spanish & English (proficient)
  • Complexity Management (high number of suppliers and components)
  • Data Analytics abilities, Dashboards creations, and Business Intelligence experience
  • Project Management abilities. PM Certifications preferred.
  • Strategic vision across multiple skill-teams to make effective recommendations.
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills
  • Advanced analytical thinking and decision-making skills
  • Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships and influence key stakeholders
  • High resilience and tolerance to frustration
  • Curiosity
