CEE IT Project Manager

Our Information Technology Generalist - Practice Support team focuses on managing the design and implementation of technology infrastructure within PwC, developing and enhancing internal applications, and providing technology tools that help create a competitive advantage for PwC to drive strategic business growth.

Overview

We’re looking for an IT Project Manager who would be responsible for managing and delivering our internal IT projects within the CEE region in a fast paced and evolving technology environment. 

He/she will also be part of our Project Management Office helping us govern the projects portfolio and our less-experienced colleagues manage their projects successfully.  

The ideal candidate will have at least three years experience in IT project management, managing multiple technology-related projects concurrently for various customers and being able to switch the subjects quickly while keeping the deliverables on track.The preferred experience would be with organizational technology migrations.

This position is available in remote mode with occasional travel to the office based on the project needs. 

Key responsibilities:

Project Management (80% FTE)

• Manage and coordinate internal IT projects in the CEE region, including infrastructure implementations, software development, and automations.

• Ensure overall ownership and accountability of end-to-end project delivery and management, from project initiation to closure.

• Utilize standard best practices in project management with a focus on value delivery and continuous improvement.

• Project Management Office Governance (20% FTE):

• Assist with governance of the CEE IT Projects portfolio, maintain up-to-date information, define standards and provide training.

• Ensure compliance with PMO standards and best practices by IT Project Managers.

• Proactively identify and resolve issues and seize opportunities to improve our operations.

• Provide valuable insights for the leadership.

PM Experience

• 3-5 years in IT Project Management

• Management and ownership of entire project lifecycle

• Preferred experience with technology migrations

• Project management certification welcome (PMI/Prince)

IT Skills

• General IT background with passion for new technologies and ability to rapidly acquire knowledge and proficiency in new areas

• Familiarity with industry-standard IT corporate solutions.
