Quell is on a mission to make fitness gaming incredible. Our launch title lets you get fit fighting, running, leaping and dodging your way through an unforgettable fantasy world. We’ve built a game-changing wearable device which adds resistance, powerful haptics to the player’s actions without the need for a VR set-up.
The market is massive; our pre-launch marketing has already generated $1.5m in preorder revenue. We’ve secured over $15m in funding from top-tier VCs and angels, including Khosla Ventures and the founders of Twitch.
YOUR MISSION.
We are seeking a passionate and innovative Social Media and Community Manager to join our growing team. As the Social Media and Community Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our brand presence across various social media platforms and nurturing a vibrant online community of fitness-gaming enthusiasts.
Build and nurture the Quell community across both customers and non-customer groups
Supercharge the Quell Social Media following and reach across all relevant platforms (Meta, X, YouTube predominantly)
Build and nurture Quell Community groups to enhance customer sentiment and engagement and drive broader reach for the Brand (Discord, Facebook, Twitch)
Grow awareness and comprehension of the Quell product offering so that we can drive cost effective growth
Create best-in-class content for all channels that helps establish Quell as a high quality and credible fitness gaming company
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES.
You will be responsible for devising and implementing social media strategies, creating compelling content, and collaborating closely with our Customer Service team to ensure a seamless and engaging user experience.
Develop and execute Quell’s Social Media strategy to establish the role of each channel and inform how we go to market across all platforms
Brief and develop content for use on all social media platforms (incl YouTube)
Day to day management of our social media agency who are responsible for creative ideation and production
Active community management across all relevant platforms (engaging in/fuelling relevant conversations on and off our pages, managing comments and DMs on pur pages)
Building and nurturing active Quell communities on all relevant platforms (Discord, Facebook etc)
Producing regular reporting and insight into the performance of our Social Media activity and delivering audience insights that can inform the wider business
Collaboration with our CS team lead to ensure seamless ways of working across DMs/comments)
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR.
An experienced Social Media & Community manager who is looking for their next career step in a high paced, high growth environment. We are looking for c.3-7 years experience in managing Social Media and Community responsibilities.
You will also have:
A passion for developing brands and communities
Experience of scaling a brand’s social media presence across a range of platforms including Meta, X and youTube
Experience in managing agencies or in house teams to brief and produce social media content
Experience of hands on community management on social media platforms
A strong interest in gaming and/or fitness
Strong written and verbal communication skills
EXTRA CREDIT.
This is a hybrid role, with Mondays and Fridays designated as office days.
