About the role:
As a Senior QA Automation Engineer, you will be part of a highly skilled technology and agile team by supporting and developing cutting-edge solutions to meet our business requirements. You will help us accelerate our customers' business results by innovating cutting-edge digital products.
Some of your essential day-to-day job duties and responsibilities will include:
- API-based Functional/Automation testing, GUI-based automation, regression testing, integration testing, performance testing, and smoke testing.
- Drive automation testability requirements and the timely delivery of automation related goals.
- Create and prioritize stories in the automation backlog.
- Communicate regular status, test reports and summaries, and what is in and out of scope.
- Create detailed test cases and scripts.
- Create required test data and test deliverables as per testing standards.
- Document how to use the automation, setup test data, and configure test environments.
- Design performance testing - accurately model load and build/maintain via automated scripts and tests.
- Work with the development team to analyze and resolve defects.
- Work as a member of an Agile Scrum team delivering high quality software in two-week sprints.
Our Requirement:
- Expertise in creating and maintaining scalable, data-driven test automation frameworks for both API and GUI-based approaches.
- Strong skills with Java, C# or similar
- Expertise in building a new custom framework would be a plus
- Expertise in creating, maintaining, and Analyzing Load/Performance Testing code using tools like JMeter or Similar required
- Strong skills with Customized Postman collection for Automation
- Experience with an automation tool like Protractor, Cucumber, Selenium, Gherkin, Robot framework and SpecFlow or similar required.
- Knowledge of network and infrastructure tools and concepts
- Experience with SQL server, MySQL or other databases
- Experience with building, supporting, maintaining, and scaling automation in a CI/CD environment, including working with tools like Jenkins, Github, bitbucket pipeline, azure devops or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of scripting languages such as JavaScript
- Automation/Load Testing of microservices is a plus.
