Sr Data Delivery Engineer

What You'll be doing

The Senior Data Delivery Engineer will ensure that data solutions are designed and delivered to meet the functional and non-functional demands of the business and customer. Our focus is to provide a self-service platform to the business so they can make key decisions and drive innovation.

• Recommend design approaches and reporting options to allow for successful clinical trials

• Write complex custom solutions that optimize the flow of data from various internal systems

• Project Ownership - attends all study meetings, perform spec reviews, provide feedback to internal teams, research and assess complexity of deliverables to see what is attainable (from simple to complex solutions), provide consultation

• Develop Integrations - design and develop integrations with external systems

• Develop and design custom reports with internal/external systems

• Investigate technical support issues as the last line of defense to resolve technical

• problems in delivery and/or production

• Perform Code review and monitor testing status

• Provide high quality deliverables from development to release

• Assist with audits and resolution of resulting audit findings

• Unit Test all releases to Staging, UAT, Prod to ensure deliverables have been properly released

• Competently prioritize tasks and manage own workload to meet deadlines with minimal supervision

• Understands how their work fits in to the larger project, proactively identifies problems with requirements (lack of clarity, inconsistencies, technical limitations) for their own work and adjacent work and communicates these issues early to help course-correct

• Support team members by offering help on projects and/or with technical questions

• Assist with training of new team members

• Develop internal Strategic initiatives that allow both Clario and the Data Solutions team to run at peak efficiency

• Participate in client-facing meetings/emails

What we look for

• MS/BA/BS in a related field

• 4+ years minimum technical experience with ability to understand and develop SQL / Oracle Stored Procedures, Views and Functions;

• MS SQL server experience preferred

• Advanced technical SQL experience including ability to develop optimized stored procedures, views, functions and tables

• Ability to read and develop in XML, XSLT, CSS, JSON and JavaScript

• Experience in data integration and report development

• Advanced powerBI skills preferred

• Experience using and programming in Python preferred

• Experience with clinical trial industry data standards such as Oracle Clinical, CDISC ODM CDISC SDTM, etc preferred.

• Experience with other programming languages, such as C, C# or Java is preferred

• Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Clinical Trial experience is desired
