We are seeking a Manager for the European University Recruitment team to work part of a global organization, with our excellent University Recruiters and seasoned program leaders. This is an exciting opportunity that will allow you to drive strategy across several European countries and make an impact for all the recent graduates looking to start their career in Technology, Life Sciences, and Consulting.
You will work with the Director of the Global Consultant Development Program to evolve and execute our talent attraction strategy in Europe, continuously evaluating our four key markets and supporting the business needs for Veeva Europe.
You will represent Veeva as a Generation Veeva Ambassador to connect, target, and build our employer brand across Universities and student organizations.
What You'll DoManage and develop a team of 3 University Recruiters (UK, Germany, Hungary) and a Program Coordinator; hire additional University Recruiters when/if neededUnderstand, own, and continue to develop the Consultant Development Program and Generation Veeva recruitment strategy (as it aligns to business needs) across UK, Germany, Hungary, PolandCollaborate with the Global Program Director for the Consultant Development Program to advance and execute the European recruitment strategyTogether with the Program Coordinator and Global team, spearhead employer branding initiatives in key marketsEnsure team successfully executes upcoming recruitment seasons across key marketsEstablish key metrics and analysis of recruitment efforts for the team and regionSupport hiring to meet EU hiring targets: managing applications, conducting candidate screens when neededBuild relationships with Veeva business country leaders for UK, Germany and HungaryRepresent Veeva and Generation Veeva in our relationship with Universities, Student Organizations, and prospective candidatesRequirementsBased in the London metro areaWillingness to travel 25% of time in EuropePossess excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; can communicate clearly and effectively to leadership5+ years work experience in Campus/University Recruitment or Talent Attraction focused on European markets, experience hiring technical and/or consulting roles in Germany is requiredHave previous experience in a managerial or team lead capacity (experience hiring and developing recruiters)Strong customer service expertise and executive presence: ability to build trusted relationships with hiring managers and business leadersHave business acumen to learn and understand the business and their needsStrategic thinker who has analytical and critical thinking skills: measure quantitative and qualitative information and synthesize it into insights and action items; proactively identify opportunities to improve performance; and take a consultative approach to solving problemsStrong marketing and selling skills: ability to understand the value proposition of our programs and position it to different audiences - candidates, student leaders, and university leadersAbility to work autonomously, drive initiatives and a team forward, focus on results and overall objectivesAbility to prioritize across multiple work streams and meet deadlinesOrganized and detail‐orientedExperience with data analysis/reportingProficient with technology including Applicant Tracking Systems, Google Sheets, PowerPoint, Excel, and LinkedIn RecruiterCandidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the UK.
