Your mission at Alegra🚀

The Chief People Officer (CPO) will lead the Talent and Culture team with the main objective of driving excellence in talent acquisition, development, and retention.

Their main role will be to guide the Talent Acquisition team in seeking and applying effective practices to ensure the quality of our human resources. Additionally, the CPO will be responsible for defining and consolidating the organizational culture, ensuring alignment with Alegra's strategic objectives.

This role includes the task of ensuring that the team's skills and competencies are perfectly aligned with the organization's needs and goals. Furthermore, this position will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive support to all teams in aspects related to training, performance, and employee well-being by implementing strategies designed to enhance the company's culture and ethos.

What will be your challenges?

  • Lead the Talent and Culture team in talent acquisition, development, and retention.
  • Develop and execute effective talent acquisition strategies in collaboration with the Head of Talent.
  • Design training and professional development programs for current and potential employees in collaboration with the Head of People.
  • Define and promote the organizational culture, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic objectives.
  • Manage and optimize performance evaluation processes, establishing relevant metrics and KPIs to measure employee performance and progress.
  • Collaborate with directors of other teams to ensure talent objectives are aligned with organizational needs.
  • Supervise the performance and satisfaction of employees, identifying areas for improvement and proposing solutions.
  • Implement wellness programs to promote a healthy and productive work environment.
  • Manage and optimize the budget allocated to the Talent and Culture department.
  • Stay informed about trends and best practices in talent management and human resources, and incorporate them as appropriate.

Desirable Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Labor Relations or related fields.
  • Minimum 7 years of previous experience as a Head of People or Sr HRBP roles.
  • Strong analytical skills, data-driven mindset.
  • Experience navigating complex scenarios, acting as an advisor to senior leadership stakeholders.
  • Experience in startups will be highly valued, either by working directly in a similar company or managing a new project unit in a larger organization.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Proficiency in English (minimum B2+).
  • Knowledge of the Latin American market.
