Senior SEO Manager

Location: Remote USA. This role can be performed anywhere from the United States.

The Role

We are seeking a talented and experienced SEO Manager to enhance our Global SEO strategy. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of traditional SEO best practices, proven experience in technical SEO optimizations, along with a keen interest in exploring the potential impact of AI and evolution of consumer search behaviors on the future of search engine optimization. This role requires a strategic thinker who can anticipate and adapt to evolving trends and develop innovative strategies to maximize our online visibility and success.

What You Will Do

• Develop and implement forward-looking SEO strategies that drive organic traffic lift and take advantage of rising search trends
• Monitor and drive SEO technical optimizations, partnering with web engineering and merchandising
• Identify opportunities to incorporate natural language processing (NLP) and other AI emerging trends such as voice search, image search and featured snippets into SEO optimization efforts to improve visibility
• Collaborate with web, product marketing and copywriting teams to provide direction on naming and page metadata components that drive effective page ranking
• Collaborate with the editorial team to guide content creation that address relevant consumer search interest
• Work with advertising team to align SEO with paid search campaign strategy
• Conduct experiments to evaluate the effectiveness of SEO strategies and optimize performance.
• Track and report on key metrics, trends, and performance indicators, and provide actionable insights to senior management.
• Provide thought leadership and guidance on the future of SEO in the age of AI and educate internal teams on the potential opportunities and challenges.

Skills We’re Excited About

• Minimum 8 years of experience with a consumer-facing website, ideally in the consumer electronics space.
• Deep understanding of traditional SEO best practices, search engine algorithms, and industry trends.
• Strong analytical skills with an ability to derive actionable insights from data and present them to senior staff with clarity
• Familiarity with rising AI technologies such as machine learning, natural language processing (NLP), and their applications in SEO.
• Open-minded team player with a natural ability to collaborate with various internal stakeholders
• Proactive self-learner, eager to share knowledge about SEO and emerging technologies 
• Experience working with web analytics, web publishing and reporting platform such as GA4, Looker Studio, ContentStack, Conductor, etc.
• Adaptable, Capable of driving multiple projects and priorities at the same time within a rapidly changing environment

The pay range for this role is between $114,750 - $152,500. Actual pay within the range is dependent on multiple factors, including your residence location and prior work experience. Equity, benefits, and a discretionary bonus may be additional forms of compensation for this role and are not included in the provided pay range.
