Job description
Your missionsFinQuery is looking for a Database Engineer to join our dynamic Engineering team. We’re seeking someone with a passion for improvement; both in our processes and in yourself. We work in an Agile environment with development teams utilizing Scrum and Kanban. We value the continuous pursuit of improvement, both in our systems and within our team members. Our work environment is agile, employing methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban. In the role of a Database Engineer at FinQuery, the main emphasis is on maintaining, enhancing, and ensuring the efficient performance of our PostgreSQL databases.
This role will be responsible for ensuring optimal query performance, carrying out regular database maintenance, and addressing scalability concerns to support our growing data infrastructure. There is particular emphasis placed on RDS experience/optimization, PostgreSQL expertise, and the ability to enhance the performance and integrity of our databases.
