Video Producer

Questline Digital, a proud division of Harris, is on the hunt for a dynamic Video Producer. Our team is dedicated to crafting original video content that makes complicated topics interesting and engaging for utility customers. We pride ourselves in leveraging new technology to deliver stories in compelling ways.

The ideal candidate for this role will be an experienced producer who can optimize the production of our content and client videos. The Video Producer understands how to schedule, budget, manage internal resources and outside vendors, as well as be able to communicate with internal teams and clients.

This remote role welcomes candidates with the ability to attend occasional video shoots in Central Ohio and monthly in-person meetings at our office in Dublin, Ohio.

What your impact will be:

• Serve as subject matter expert for custom video projects; work with internal teams and outside vendors to create project proposals for client-specific video production.
• Coordinate video production process by allocating internal resources, setting schedules, budgeting and evaluating progress.
• Collaborate with directors, writers, designers and production crew; solve problems and anticipate needs to keep projects on-schedule and on-budget.
• Maintain our internal library of video assets; manage relationships and licensing agreements with outside vendors.
• Identify and understand new technologies and their applications to improve our creative solutions and production processes.

What we are looking for:

• 5+ years of experience in video production (media, agency or corporate).
• Extensive experience in video production scheduling, management and budgeting.
• Deep understanding of production equipment needs and capabilities.
• Proven ability to select, hire, budget and manage outside vendors.
• Experience utilizing project management tools.
• Experience editing video, audio or other post-production is preferred, but not required.
• Experience as a director of photography or camera operator is a plus.
• Ability to multitask while paying attention to detail.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong communication skills.
