IoT Engineer

Ex Machina (ΕΧΜ) is a company founded in 2015 focusing on weather analytics and forecasting for the energy sector. Ex Machina (ΕΧΜ) delivers environmental monitoring IoT solutions to weather-sensitive industries. Our solutions are powered by machine learning for predictive analytics and custom sensor node hardware for weather/air/water/noise/soil sensing. We are in the process of extending our core system to utilize distributed ledger technologies (web3).

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and dynamic IoT Developer to join our innovative projects. You will be working at the forefront of IoT technology, focusing on developing and integrating software solutions for smart devices and systems.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain software for IoT devices.
• Work with IoT platforms for device management and deployment.
• Utilize platforms for data collection, processing, and visualization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate various hardware and software components.
• Engage in problem-solving to address challenges in device connectivity, data security, and scalability.
• Contribute to the entire project lifecycle from concept to deployment and support.

Qualifications:

• Knowledgeable in Python and JavaScript, including frameworks such as Node.js.
• Familiarity with Docker and containerization technologies.
• Understanding of IoT ecosystems and networking protocols.
• While not required, familiarity with IoT platforms like Thingsboard and Balena will be highly valued.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and platforms.
