Salesforce is looking for a talented, energetic, Account Executive responsible for managing a high volume of opportunities to grow our Net Zero Cloud business. 

The Account Executive role focuses exclusively on selling Net Zero Cloud, which is our industry-leading solution to help our customers accelerate climate action.

The Account Executive will formulate and execute a sales strategy within an assigned territory.  This strategy will include a programatic approach to building pipeline and closing deals.  You will drive revenue growth by sourcing new customers as well as penetrating the current Salesforce customer base by partnering with BDRs and the Core Sales Teams.

You will work as a trusted advisor to deeply understand the unique business challenges and goals of the customer. You will consult with customers on the Salesforce Net Zero Cloud solution to promote accelerated climate action. This is accomplished by participating and leading client meetings or engaging other corporate resources as required, as well as participating in regional forecast calls and account planning sessions. Accurately forecasting sales activity and revenue while creating satisfied and reference-able customers are key responsibilities within the Net Zero Cloud AE position.You will contribute to our business growth in a fast paced, collaborative and fun atmosphere, as a valued member of our growing Salesforce family.

Your Qualifications: You have 6+ years of quota carrying software sales experience. Experience in the sustainability software space is helpful.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Meet and exceed an annual sales quota
  • Lead a full-lifecycle sales process, prospecting via phone, email, referrals, LinkedIn, Salesforce relationships, partners, etc.
  • Identify appropriate business contacts, qualify and drive leads through the sales pipeline and manage accounts/contacts within Salesforce.com
  • Engage in technical discussions with potential clients through product demonstrations and presentations with Director, VP, and C Level prospects
  • Establish and maintain long-term relationships to enhance future revenue opportunities and match our sales process with customer buying processes
  • Able to be in territory as needed (up to 1-2 times per month)
  • Maintain account and opportunity forecasting within our internal salesforce system
  • Build pipeline to maintain a healthy ratio of pipeline to hit sales targets (avg 3:1)
  • Develop trusted internal and customer relationships to build win-win sales relationships
  • Effectively communicate the business value of the NetZero Cloud solution, often at the CxOs level
  • Generate short term results while maintaining a long term perspective to increase overall revenue generation.
