Job Description
You'll be part of Network Infrastructure Global Repair Operations & Strategy. You will be part of reverse supply chain that manage product returns for repair. You will be primarily working remotely and will work together with repair centers located in Europe, North America and Asia. You will also interface with HWSD operation and Business Unit product and test engineering to support Optical product repair. **
Responsibilities**
- be part of the Repair Engineering Team to address repair center support issues as necessary to keep test operations running.
- work on projects to improve repair and reduce repair cost.
- analyze potential to setup repair of product including identifying test benches required and associated costs and the associated cost reduction realized. Develop project specific validation process requirements and perform functional level testing as necessary to validate repair processes and conduct repair center audits.

Knowledge & Experience**
- General understanding of repair center test processes including using boundary scan, flying probe, In-circuit test, electrical and optical functional test
- General understanding of Engineering Change Notices and how to implement and also understanding of system operation software, functional test software platforms, test program applications and software debug tools
- Operational understanding and use of electrical and optical test instrumentation, transmission analyzers, network analyzers, optical spectrum analyzers, wavelength and power meters, switches and attenuators to make measurements.
- Ability to navigate data and document repositories and manufacturing execution systems, Proligent, PDM, Labview etc.
- Ability to analyze repair and test data, manage test bench usage, determine quantities of test benches needed based on repair volumes
- Ability to debug unit in failure state using test program
- Ability to manage test bench and test instrument assets, in use, spare, and future needs
- Ability to perform cost analysis on various initiatives and make recommendations based on the analysis
- Nokia Optical platforms knowledge preferred with solid knowledge of 1830 PSS/PSI2T/VWM, 162XLM, 166XSM
