New Product Research Analyst

Job Title/Position: New Product Research Analyst
Location: Remote (EST Timezone)

Highlights:

90 Day Objectives:

• Demonstrate fluency in our new product research processes
• Demonstrate good judgment on when a product has potential versus not
• Identify 6 new potential products that meet our criteria and are approved

Key Performance Indicators:

• Identify at least 1 new potential product a week

What's the Role:

The mission of this role is to help the company GROW! This role is responsible for finding at least 1 new potential product a week.

• Attention to detail: You will be spending your day meticulously going through Amazon.com. You will need to be able to spot trends, patterns, and opportunities that others might miss.
• Analytical skills: You need to be able to gather and interpret data in order to make informed decisions about which products to develop.
• Creativity: You need to be able to come up with new product ideas that are both unique and marketable. Often these are ways to improve existing products you find.
• Communication skills: You need to be able to communicate your findings to your manager and other stakeholders in a clear and concise way.
• Discipline: You need to be able to manage your time effectively and stay focused while working from home.
• Willingness to learn: The e-commerce landscape is constantly changing, so you need to be willing to learn new things and adapt to new trends.
• Comfort with ambiguity: This is not a straightforward role. There are SOPs and processes to follow, but there's a high degree of judgment and critical thinking required to be successful.
  

What You'll Do:

• Spend 8 hours a day meticulously researching new products on Amazon.com
• Communicating your findings to your manager in a clear and concise way.

What You'll Bring:

• Minimum 1-year experience working 100% remotely
• Minimum 1-year experience working for a United States-based company
• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university
• Fluent in English
• Fast and reliable internet connection
• Dedicated work area free of distractions
  

Hours & Wage:

• 40 hours a week (schedule to be discussed together)
• USD 800-975 per month
