Qualifications: Associate Degree in Medial Lab Technology or Equivalent; OR BA/BS degree in Medical Lab Science, Biology, Chemistry or related life science, Prior experience as an MLT or MT strongly preferred, Knowledge of medical terminology used in a clinical setting strongly preferred, Experience with Laboratory Information Systems is preferred.
Key responsabilities:
- Communicating with Hospital clientele
- Answering calls and providing information
- Resolving problems and working on minor interface issues
- Coordinating with other laboratory departments
Job description
Your missionsSchedule: M-F 9:30am-6:30pm CST
Requirements:
- Requires an Associate Degree in Medial Lab Technology or Equivalent; OR BA/BS degree in Medical Lab Science, Biology, Chemistry or related life science
- Prior experience as an MLT or MT strongly preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology used in a clinical setting strongly preferred
- Experience working in a contact center/call center environment is preferred
- Prior healthcare industry, such as a physician's office or a hospital highly is a plus
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite is required
- Experience with Laboratory Information Systems is preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and excellent ability to listen and respond
- Must be courteous with strong customer service orientation
- Excellent multitasking abilities required
- Strong flexibility and the ability to manage and adapt to changing priorities quickly
- Bilingual in English and Spanish highly desirable
