Job Summary

The Recurring Revenue Manager is responsible and accountable for our Recurring Revenue line in the business. This includes revenues associated with software maintenance renewals, SaaS and Managed Services. The role is responsible for the overall success of our recurring revenue customer base, growth of the program and renewal processing. This person will work across the organization to drive renewal proposals and ensure client success in completing annual renewals with the necessary purchase requirements. Key metrics for this role include program automation launch/oversight, recurring revenue growth targets, and retention metrics. This role also supports the implementation of best practices and financial management methodologies in recurring revenue forecasting, time to close and data integrity oversight.

Job Description

Responsibilities 

  • Develop and be accountable for all our recurring revenue accounts: setup, maintenance, renewals 
  • Manage contract artifacts, aligning documentation with accounts in one system of record for existing and onboarded customers.
  • Assist with pre-sales activities related to SaaS/maintenance pricing to ensure best practices are met to cover operational fees  
  • Monitor key business metrics such as renewal timelines, renewal invoicing and renewal completion per account.  
  • Drive best practices and methodology enhancements
  • Participate in the performance management process through goal setting and performance reviews for managed staff
  • Collaborate with colleagues across the organization to ensure effective knowledge sharing and team participation
  • Drive internal alignment and awareness of the value proposition of our Recurring Revenue business 
  • Reports to the VP of Finance

Qualifications and Education Requirements 

  • Experience with recurring revenue models
  • Prior experience managing staff in either a project oversight or finance team environment 
  • Demonstrated ability to manage billing cycles within a Finance or Accounting division
  • Prior experience in implementing process improvements and compliance measures
  • Demonstrated experience managing projects across business lines or teams 
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and resolve client risks and issues 
  • Experience in managing contracts and customer base data sets for large enterprise level accounts
  • Must show a commitment to customer satisfaction 
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent education/experience required
