The Quality Assurance Automation Engineer role is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining automated testing procedures and frameworks to ensure the quality and reliability of softwareapplications or systems. This role will work closely with the development team, product managers, business analysts, project managers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality software solutions.
The Kind of Work You’ll be Doing: - Develop and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard automation tools and frameworks. - Design, execute, and analyze automated test cases to identify defects and ensure software quality. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define testing strategies, test objectives, and test coverage. - Participate in design discussions and provide input on the software's testability, usability, and performance. - Create and maintain test data and test environments to support automated testing efforts. - Perform functional, regression, and performance testing of software applications. - Identify, report, and track software defects and issues through resolution. - Enhance and optimize test automation frameworks, tools, and processes continuously. - Provide accurate and timely reports on the quality status of software releases. - Contribute to the continuous improvement of the quality assurance process by suggesting new tools, techniques, and process enhancements.
Experience and Skills - Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field. - 3 years of experience as a Quality Assurance Automation Engineer. - ISTQB or other industry-accredited certification is preferred.
