Job Summary**
The Product Analyst will create the design, documentation, product configurations, customization and support of software related to Parallon Revenue Cycle Services for Parallon CSO. The product analyst will be responsible for partnering with analysts, developers, solution architect, and operations on strategic programs, projects, and activities to support the technology roadmap. The analyst should have excellent verbal and written communication skills, the ability to establish effective working relationships and manage multiple priorities.
Duties (included but are not limited to):
- Product Development, Analysis & Documentation
- Responsible for the full life-cycle process from design to development, testing, product release and maintenance
- Collaborate with senior analyst, developers, Solution Architect, and operations to help gather requirements and understand business need(s). (Business, user, functional and non-functional)
- Participate in requirement validation and feasibility analysis
- Estimate work effort required in delivering features for application(s)
- Report issues and status updates to project management and senior leaders
- Understand the different phases of testing (unit testing, integration testing, performance testing)
- Coordinates and assists in prioritizing new enhancement requests through user story reviews
- Understand the business implications of technology decisions
- Create and maintain process maps, data designs, and system integration documentation
- Create and maintain application support documentation (disaster recovery, user provisioning, application functionality and architecture) in Confluence.
- Utilize version control tools, such as, GitHub.
- Leadership and planning
- Leads meetings with purpose, ensures documentation of outcomes, action items and next steps
- Knowledge on the interaction of the Service with source system, as well as, interaction with the consumers (business users)
- Serves as liaison between business owners and development team(s)
- Assists with defining project requirements by identifying milestones and phases
- Follows and adheres to the CSO Thematic Goal: Own IT, Drive IT, Be IT
- Manage application support and relationships
- Provide 3rd level system support for application(s).
- Lead troubleshooting activities and respond to system issues, when necessary
- Supports the implementation of projects and release work, including pilot training and initial field communication
- Create and maintain strong relationships with internal team(s) and operations.
- Engage with external teams to identify/resolve issues
- Assists with other duties, as assigned.
- Continuous team and process improvement
- Continuously review, propose, and execute opportunities to optimize the processes that affect the included solutions.
- Actively builds analytical and technical knowledge by taking advantage of internal team mentoring and attending professional development opportunities.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Technical
- GitHub
- Jira/Confluence
- Basic understanding of SQL, preferred
- Excellent communication and inter-personal skills
- Experience with enterprise software architecture for different types of projects, preferred
- Experience documenting and diagramming architectural components, preferred
- Experience with Agile and Software Development Life Cycle, various development methodologies, and able to independently participate in each phase.
- Excellent customer service. Establishes and maintains long-term customer relationships, building trust and respect by consistently meeting and/or exceeding expectations.
- Adeptness to learn new assignments, technologies and application(s) quickly and manage multiple assignment simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and technical skills with ability to analyze issues, understand and synthesize complex problems, assess technical risks, and recommend sound solutions in a timely manner.
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree Required or equivalent work experience
Experience:
- 1+ years of experience as a product or business analyst
Certificate/License:
- Certified SCRUM master, preferred
- Certified Managing Jira Projects, preferred
