Product and Applications Specialist - Ophthalmology

Your Main Responsibilities

  • Provide and coordinate demonstrations in Latin America territory. Responsible to install and uninstall the respective Ophthalmology surgical microscopes on the customer site for demo purpose;
  • Responsible to training the Medical and Technical customer team about our surgical microscopes for Ophthalmology Division;
  • Responsible for product and application training through Latin America including Leica associates and indirect channel partners;
  • Ability to work well in a surgical room’s environment, requiring high capability of influencing doctors and KOL’s;
  • Develop the value selling mind set and product application knowledge to Leica associates, customer and channel partners;

YOUR PROFILE

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent and Technical Degree in electronics or equivalent will be diferential
  • Experience: Experience in the surgical environment, preferably with Ophthalmology Surgical microscopes. Demonstrate skills to install and uninstall surgical microscopes, to assist doctors and surgeons during surgical procedures. Ability to develop sales opportunity during demonstrations and analyze situations, solve practical problems and deal with customer needs.
  • Language: Spanish – Advanced written and verbal communication skills. English - Advanced written and verbal communication skills. Portuguese - Fluent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: Required estimated more than 75% of time – must possess a valid driver’s license. Valid Passport and hability to travel to USA, Europe and Germany;
