Job Description

We are currently hiring a Associate Manager, Connected Commerce (Assortment & Digital Shelf Activation), remotely.

The Associate Manager, Connected Commerce (Assortment & Digital Shelf Activation) will be responsible for delivering the visibility of BBC products in the eCommerce environment. They will do this by delivering best-in-class, accurate digital assets and product content to our prioritized retail and wholesaler partners that results in online sales channel visibility & growth for our Boston Beer portfolio. Primary responsibilities will include working with internal partners across eCommerce, brand, creative and sales teams as well as external customers (retailers and wholesalers) and vendors (Salsify, Syndigo and VIP) to catalog and deliver accurate, timely content. Additionally, the position will require daily audits (digital surveys) and weekly improvements made to targeted retailer, wholesaler, and marketplace sites to drive omni-channel revenue of Boston Beer products, with results recapped to respective internal partners. Individual will report to the Manager, Connected Commerce as part of the Commercial Marketing Team and work across the entire marketing and sales organization. **

What You'll Brew:**

  • Manage continuous catalog updates and enhancements of the Boston Beer eCommerce assortment
  • Identify gaps in Boston Beer Assortment at prioritized eCommerce marketplace channels to update and enhance either directly or by working thru BBC eCommerce and Sales teams
  • Learn, execute and maintain syndication mapping requirements for current and emerging retailer connections within Salsify and/or Syndigo
  • Execute and maintain delivery and receiving of FTP automated content updates as needed
  • Work with internal eCommerce team to have a clear understanding of eCommerce catalog functionality and update processes at prioritized retailer eCommerce sites and applications
  • Manage asset workflow needed for item setup (including physical item setup & digital items setup)
  • Learn and support eCommerce assortment needs for developing B2B/Whoelsaler inside sales portals such as DSDLink, VIP Retailer Portal, PROVI, and other wholesaler built B2B platforms – current and emerging, to improve Boston Beer’s supplier position through search and updated product content
  • Support and work cross-functionally to update as needed against content needs for marketplace sales activation vendor partnerships and requirements (ie. Syndigo, Salsify, and other emerging players)
  • Work within the eCommerce team to prioritize marketplace experience and improvements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional business groups to improve processes to continuously improve content generation and digital asset management
  • Report results aligned with retailer and wholesaler capabilities
  • Develop presentations and deliver training to internal and external partners on merchandising systems and processes, as required to support continuous improvement

Travel: 10-20% to vendor sites (when corporate travel policy allows) and internal alignment & motivational meetings **

What Ingredients You'll Bring:

_Minimum Qualifications:

**_ - 1+ years eCommerce or digital acumen with a strong track record working in digital sales and promotional channels - E-Commerce experience, preferably focused on multi-channel retailers, with the ability to drive eCommerce growth - Comfort with highly technical environments and ability to coach and manage associate to enterprise level vendor conversations - Product information manager (PIM), digital asset manager (DAM), and/or other data management tools experience; Salsify, Syndigo, and/or VIP data management preferred - Highly proficient in Teams and Microsoft products including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word - Strong attention to detail and project management skills - Excellent written and oral communication skills and must be able to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization, and with business partners - Demonstrated ability and willingness to learn quickly and to flex and adapt with incredible capacity in an agile environment and evolving eCommerce landscape

_**Preferred Qualifications:

**_ - Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field - 3+ years previous experience in retail on/off-premise sales strategy, account management, category management, and/or data management - Retailer and/or Wholesaler-specific eCommerce capabilities and processes experience preferred - 1-2 years experience in SEO

Level: 6

In accordance with pay transparency laws the salary range for this role if hired is $61,200 – $109,200 annually based on location and the experience level of the candidate. In addition to base salary, this position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on individual and company performance. Certain sales positions are also eligible for car allowance. **
