What you can expect when joining the team

Based remotely out of British Columbia, the Senior Account Executive is responsible for pioneering market expansion and client development in British Columbia for Petal's portfolio of SaaS (Software as a Service) solutions.

Your responsibilities will include driving revenue, adoption, and market penetration for enterprise accounts in the healthcare sector. Experience in enterprise B2B sales as well as having a rich network of contacts, excellent relationship building, negotiation, and technical skills will enable you to be successful in this role.


Your daily life

During the day, you will be led to:

  • Drive revenue, adoption, and market penetration for enterprise accounts in the healthcare sector in your assigned territory;
  • Leverage your existing database of contacts to prospect high-potential opportunities and build relationships with key hospital players to jumpstart pipeline development;
  • Develop and execute on account-based strategies from scratch to drive pipeline creation and establish a strong client base;
  • Travel within an assigned territory to conduct face-to-face meetings, demos, and discovery sessions with potential customers;
  • Help customers achieve their goals by understanding the foundation of their needs and successfully articulating compelling value proposition and ROI;
  • Identify, address, and overcome potential buying obstacles unique to the healthcare sector in British Columbia;
  • Clearly articulate and demonstrate our value proposition, positioning Petal as the clear number one choice for prospects;
  • Communicate and collaborate cross-functionally with sales engineering for solutions modeling, as well as with inside sales, customer success and marketing teams to uncover new opportunities and drive success;
  • Grow your network and Petal’s brand awareness by attending conferences, workshops and industry events;
  • Maintain detailed and up-to-date records of daily activities in Hubspot CRM to track progress.
