Workday Account Executive-State and Local Government

Here at Ironbrick, our Account Executives are key players in our Field Sales organization. Our customer base sales team uses their extensive experience and consultative selling skills to initiate and support sales of Workday solutions. This fantastic team of hardworking professionals plays a key role in driving both net new and incremental add-on business into strategic accounts. As a team, we believe that partnering with our customers to craft relevant solutions that deliver long-lasting value is critical. We want to make sure  our customers are positively satisfied from day one and beyond.  

  

A day in the life of an Account Executive: 

  

  • Be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships and expanding the footprint with existing customers.
  • Perform account planning for assigned accounts, coordinating with pre-sales and OEM resources to ensure strategic alignment.
  • Drive strategic net new, expansion and renewal business of Workday solutions within Large Enterprise customers.
  • Coordinate cross-functionally with Workday’s internal teams (pre-sales, digital, value & bid- management, marketing, technical and sales support)

  

About You: 

  

  • 5+ years of experience selling Enterprise Software, preferably SaaS/cloud-based ERP / HCM / Financial Planning / or Analytics solutions to C-levels from a field sales position.
  • Experience negotiating deals with a variety of C-Suite and procurement executives to close opportunities.
  • Experience with building relationships with existing customers and key OEM points of contact.
  • Experience in developing and successfully executing long-term account strategies.
  • A track record in sales of consistently meeting or over-achieving against a yearly sales quota
  • Experience with prospecting for and qualifying sales opportunities.
  • Experience managing a sales pipeline and forecasting within a CRM system such as SaleForce.com.
  • Experience with closing Public Sector software transactions leveraging key government contracting vehicles.

  

 Other Qualifications: 

  

  • Experience with managing long deal cycles beyond 6 months, with large deal sizes.
  • Understanding of the  competitive landscape of the industry by staying up to date with trends and customer needs so you can effectively position Workday solutions within accounts.
  • Experience leveraging and partnering with internal team members on account strategies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must demonstrate a high level of attention to detail.
  • Experience working with OEM channel ecosystems.
