Position: Sr. SAP FICO Product Costing Architect
Location: San Antonio, TX
Duration: 6 months Contract to Hire
Rate: $Market All Inclusive
 
Job Summary:
  • The Sr. SAP FICO Product Costing Architect serves as a support and project person for FICO in general and CO product costing in specific related SAP projects, problems, and questions.
  • The Sr. Product Costing Solution Architect is expected to support a stable system environment for client SAP and its integrated platforms.
  • He /She will be required to support all related business projects and members of the IT team responsible for the implementation of all new business processes and project implementations.
  • The Sr. SAP FICO Product Costing Architect must know how to leverage SAP to support best practices with a proven understanding of process integration within SD, MM, PP, VC, PM, WH, FI and CO areas.
  • This position will be required to work on assignments that are complex in nature where considerable judgment and initiative are required in resolving problems and making recommendations to improve clients business processes.
  • Must Have Experience And Knowledge Overall solution ownership and responsibility for FICO Module with emphasis on CO Product Costing functionality of Client including Variant Configurator
  • This position will interface and work closely with Finance and Costing Departments in collaboration with Product Management/Engineering, Purchasing, Manufacturing and Logistics, to support the growing business.
  • Support the implementation of all new business functions and processes for client
  • Support the daily business requirements and/or initiatives at client Work with IT team across all functional teams using a collaborative approach to build and support best practice solutions to support client  Work with business counterparts to assess requirements and deliver solutions that are enabling capabilities to support IT strategy and overall clients business objectives.
  • Experience with Make-to-Stock and Make-to-Order processes.
  • Comprehensive understanding of SAP s Solutions Guides and Tools including the IMG. Experience of all CO moules such as CO-CCA, CO-PCA, CO-IO, CO-PA, and CO Product Costing Thorough understanding of Production Orders, Plant Maintenance Orders, Order Types, Bill of Material, Routings, Work Centers etc. and its integration with CO Product Costing Thorough understanding of Product Costing areas such as Costing run, Settlement Profiles, Costing Sheets, Production Overheads, Work in process, Variances and Settlement Document functional requirements, develop functional specs for program changes, make configuration settings, perform testing, conduct system demos and work with users providing training and testing support.
  • Ensure solution integration and integrity within the process areas to formalize participation, roles & responsibilities, and accountabilities
 
Skills And Abilities:
  • Minimum 10 years configuration and implementation experience in SAP s FICO module with focus on CO-PC, CO-PA, CO-CCA, and CO-PCA.
  • Minimum 6 years experience in an Analyst or team lead role Minimum of 4 full life cycle implementations including blueprinting, configuration, testing, training, and post implementation support within the CO-CCA, CO-PCA, CO-PA and CO-PC functional areas Capability to partner with process owner organization and key stakeholders on solution design/implementation guiding designs to achieve best practices.
  • Analyze and evaluate requirements for systems solutions that improve business processes and increase productivity.
  • Oversee production support responsibilities within area of responsibility making sure adherence to service levels, governance procedures, and documentation standards.
  • Prepare detailed functional specifications for development activities including reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms.
  • Facilitate knowledge transfer, communication and interaction between various functional organizations and the Information Technology department.
  • Proactively participate in the integration between related SAP functions with other Business Analysts Strong integrative cross-module knowledge between Sales, Purchasing, Inventory Management, Variant Configuration, Finance, Production and Supply Chain (SD, MM, PP, VC, FI, CO and WH) Good organizational and presentation skills with good attention to detail required.
  • Strong communications and problem-solving skills Strong people skills are essential to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Good understanding of consumer products business model or global models in a consumer products organization Good understanding of various SAP system landscapes Ability to work with multiple priorities in delivery and project organizations.
  • Advanced Knowledge in Microsoft Office Applications Ability to travel 10% of the time.
 
Education And Training:
  • BS/MS in Business, Engineering, Accounting, Computer Science, or others
  • SAP Certification in FI, CO-CCA, CO-PA and CO-PC a plus
