About The Role:

We are hiring a Partnerships and Alliances Lead (official title: Strategic Partnerships Lead, SpendHound) to work with our Head of Sales to execute partnership transactions to drive new customer opportunities to accelerate the already fast growth of YipitData’s new product, SpendHound. 

This is a remote-friendly opportunity that can sit in NYC (where our headquarters and the majority of our SpendHound team are located), one of our office hubs (Austin, Miami, Denver, Mountain View, or Seattle), or anywhere else in the US. Depending upon where the remote work is performed, income could be subject to New York State tax withholding. Please note that we pay NYC-based salaries for US roles regardless of where employees choose to work.

YipitData’s product portfolio is underpinned by a growing set of exciting data partnerships and proprietary data assets. SpendHound is a new product from YipitData that allows us to build a proprietary new dataset and provide a significant impact on the YipitData product offering. 

This is a unique opportunity for you to work directly with executive management on a growth-oriented initiative. The product is also 100% free, providing a lot of flexibility and opportunity to potential partnerships.

As our Strategic Partnerships Lead, SpendHound you will:

  • Identify Private Equity firms and Companies where we can build mutually beneficial partnerships to drive customer leads for SpendHound
  • Conduct outreach through a variety of channels to build relationships with potential partners
  • Build a pipeline of partnership opportunities to help drive leads to our sales team
  • Cultivate c-suite and leadership level relationships with prospective partners
  • Work together with product to define product changes to help us execute those partnership opportunities
  • Run comprehensive discovery process to understand partner needs and goals
  • Manage timelines to achieve partnership goals
  • Maintain a pipeline and accurate forecast performance of that pipeline
  • Negotiate and sign complex enterprise-level partnerships
  • Work cross-functionally and collaborate with key partners, including legal and compliance, product, engineering, and executive management

You Are Likely To Succeed If:

  • You have at least 4+ years of experience in partnership sales and/or subscription sales in a fast-paced SaaS/Subscription sales environment
  • You have a track record of not only meeting, but exceeding execution goals
  • You deeply understand our product and growth strategy and prioritize partnership targets accordingly
  • You have grit and tenacity - this role will be required to do all outreach to prospects
  • You are a team player motivated by the company’s success more than personal success
  • You have great questioning skills and ability to identify concerns and objections from prospective partners
  • You have interest or experience in the spend and SaaS management space
  • You have excellent communication skills and comfort working with CXO level prospects

  • The annual compensation for this position is anticipated to be up to $150,000 On-Target-Earning ($100,000 Base + $50,000+ Uncapped Bonus). The final offer may be determined by a number of factors, including, but not limited to, the applicant's experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal team benchmarks.
  • This role may be performed fully remotely within the United States. Please note that our US headquarters are located in NYC. We also have office hubs in Austin, Miami, Denver, Mountain View, and Seattle. If the remote work is performed outside of these offices, income may be subject to New York State tax withholding.
