About us

CropConex is an integrated marketplace and supply chain management platform designed to help increase traceability, efficiency and collaboration across the coffee supply chain. The CropConex platform integrates the data and workflows of agricultural trade in an online workspace accessible across the entire supply chain. We track every step in the sales and logistics process, from order to delivery, and map the progress in an easy-to-understand UI. By centralizing data, simplifying complex workflows, and automating processes, we’re removing friction points along the supply chain for smoother cross-border trade and collaboration.

Responsibilities
  • Work with the founding team to sustain the great relationships with our existing customers
  • Strategically prospect, qualify, and generate leads of prospective customers in the green coffee roasting or importing business through outbound emailing and calling
  • Build a high-quality, strategic pipeline to drive the use of CropConex with customers
  • Manage the end-to-end sales process; lead generation, solution demoing, negotiation, and continue to manage the relationship as we continue to grow.
  • Conduct articulate, engaging, interactive, and compelling demos
  • Assist in setting and guiding best practices for customer acquisition via outbound sales
  • Log and record all relevant communication, notes, data, etc in HubSpot
Required qualifications
  • 3+ years of previous sales/account management experience developing key relationships with clients (Supply Chain/Coffee preferred)
  • Knowledge and expertise in the green coffee/supply chain industry
  • An interest in growing for the long term with an early stage, high-growth company
  • Experience developing and scaling a new business, implementing processes and procedures
  • Experience meeting sales quotas and KPIs
  • Quantitative & analytical mindset with strong attention to detail
  • Strong work ethic and high level of professionalism
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • The ability to demonstrate ROI quickly and clearly to prospective customers
  • A desire to always go above and beyond, as well as not be afraid to try new things
  • Previous experience selling software using the SANDLER Method of Sales, but method not required
  • English fluency. Other foreign language proficiency is a plus, but not at all needed
