Job Description

The PMO Manager (US) is a dynamic role of leading and overseeing our organization’s US project management functions. This is a hands-on, client facing role. The role of the US PMO Manager is to act as both a Senior Project Manager managing some of our largest projects, but to also a mentor & lead the tactical day to day operations of the US project management team. Project Managers interact with customers to install, optimize, or modify their solutions based on their business results. The US PMO Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful delivery of projects, optimizing project management processes and aligning project activities with organizational goals. The US PMO Manager will be a relationship builder with both internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Partner with the Senior Director, Global PMO, to lead day to day operations of the US project management team.
  • Lead, mentor and develop a team of project managers delivering various types of projects across a diverse product suite. Provide guidance and support to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Ensure implementation projects are completed on time and within budget while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction throughout the customer lifecycle. 
  • Manage some of Revalize’s largest and highest complexity projects from kickoff to implementation through to completion.
  • Act as executive sponsor on larger or escalated implementations to support Customers and the Professional Services organization.
  • Implement performance measurement and tracking mechanisms to evaluate project success and identify areas for improvement.
  • Continuously assess and enhance project management processes, methodologies, and tools to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Work cross-functionally and across different regions to expand the PMO toolkit and standard processes.
  • Ensure the PMO is adhering to project management best practices as well as coaching for better outcomes.
  • Identify process improvement areas to optimize and scale our PMO.
  • Manage and improve billable utilization performance for the PMO and Implementation teams.

Qualifications
  • 10+ years managing technical projects, desirably software implementations, with an eye to managing risk, scope, quality, and budget. 
  • 3-5+ years’ experience as a Team Lead, or general management experience
  • Experience working on complex projects with budget greater than $500K requiring coordination with multiple vendors. 
  • Experience working in matrixed and complex organizations and an appreciate of how to execute in a high growth, fast paced environment.
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication, including the ability to work with all levels of internal and external organizations in an assertive manner. 
  • Excellent problem solving and critical thinking abilities.
  • Strong negotiation, planning, and project reporting skills 
  • Ability to deliver according to forecast and both articulate and manage the impact of project work on company revenues
