Ochsner LSU Health System-Monroe Medical Center & LSU Health Sciences Center-Shreveport seek applicants for an Obstetrics & Gynecology position in Monroe, LA. Must be board certified/board eligible in OB/Gyn and eligible for active Louisiana medical licensure. This position is for an Assistant or Associate Professor of the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology. J1 visa accepted. The incumbent will be responsible for clinical practice focusing on patients in both the inpatient and outpatient locations and provide clinical instruction to students and residents.
Monitors patient during prenatal, natal and postnatal periods and performs tests and prescribes medication and treatment, as necessary. Delivers babies, determining the method most appropriate to ensure health and safety of both infant and mother.
