Needed LMHC - Full-time in Seattle, WA

Are you a skilled Licensed Mental Health Counselor looking for career growth? Join our team now! As an LMHC, you are primarily responsible for guiding individuals, couples, families, and groups who are dealing with issues that affect their mental health and well-being

Job Type: Full Time

Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM

Compensation: $90,000 - $110,000 per year + benefits

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinically & culturally competent mental health services including case management, individual and/or family psychotherapy, and parent counseling
  • Conduct client intakes & initial screening assessments
  • Coordinate with client & attending psychiatrist on treatment plans (develop/implement goals & plans), assess progress, and disposition
  • Responsible for client treatment records that comply with agency policies and clinical standards
  • Provide outreach & education on clients' mental health issues to families 
  • Participate in case conferences, staff meetings, in-service training, and other staff development activities

Requirements

  • Independent, state-board-approved clinical license (LMHC)
  • Hold a Master’s Degree or Doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling is required
  • Prior experience providing outpatient mental health services
  • Advanced knowledge of and mastery of theories and modalities used in the specialized treatment of complex mental illness
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
