The Director, Associate Well-Being Experience oversees the design, build and implementation of the Company’s diverse well-being packages for each of its operating divisions. Each division’s package promotes and enhances associate physical health, emotional health, purpose, belonging and security as a key component of the total reward package for retaining talent.
The Director will build these programs to appeal to emotional drivers of decision making and motivators for healthy behavior. They will need to deploy behavioral economics, incentives, surcharges, marketing, outreach and community reinforced strategies and tactics (i.e.,) that are both effective and appropriate for individual associate groups and worksites. The Director, Associate Well-Being Experience requires an in-depth understanding appealing to diverse workforces including fully remote associates, hybrid office based, field sales, clinical and supporting associates, clinic based associates.
The Director, Associate Well-Being Experience:
- Oversees the design, implementation and operations of the Company’s well-being packages to ensure they achieve target outcomes and deliver excellent user experience.
- Coordinate well-being package delivery with divisional culture and engagement leads so that well-being objectives become and remain a critical component of the Company culture.
- Develop and foster the Company’s network of well-being champions that evangelize the benefits of our well-being programs throughout the organization.
- Oversee the preparation of quarterly associate well-being snapshots and advise leaders on effective responses unfavorable changes.
- Utilize increased engagement in culture development programs like volunteerism and charitable gift matching to improve associate engagement, well-being and health.
- Leverage internal and external clinical expertise to identify gaps and improvement opportunities in associate care, improve population health, optimize health plan outcomes, determine appeals and consistent coverage, and assess new technology and clinical programs.
- In collaboration with the associate benefit team identify evidence based preventative health objectives for associates and lead associate, and dependent, engagement with programs that achieve those objectives.
- Oversee health plan specific well-being incentive programs including surcharges and HSA funding incentives to ensure they are compliant with applicable regulations, properly designed to incent health objectives pursued and are economically appropriate for the objective.
- Decisions are typically related to the implementation of new/updated programs or large-scale projects for the function and supporting technical/operational procedures and processes, and implements strategic plans, drives goals and objectives, and improves performance.

Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree
- 8 or more years of designing and implementing Well-Being Packages
- 5 or more years of HR or Benefit Management experience
- Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
- Demonstrated experience making metric driven design decisions and monitoring subsequent performance
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification in Public Health and Administration
- Center for Disease Control Work at Health Certified

Pay Range
The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay decisions will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
$149,800 - $206,100 per year
This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
