Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated SQL Data Migration Specialist to join our team and contribute to
our data migration projects. The ideal candidate will possess indepth knowledge of SQL, handson
experience with Kingswaysoft, and a strong understanding of data migration best practices. In this role,
you will be responsible for exporting, transforming, and querying data as part of our data migration
initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Data Extraction: Utilize SQL and Kingswaysoft tools to extract data from various source systems accurately and efficiently.
2. Data Transformation: Apply data transformation techniques to ensure data compatibility and integrity during the migration process.
3. Data Querying: Create and optimize SQL queries to retrieve, manipulate, and validate data as needed for migration projects.
4. Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of data migration processes, including data mappings, transformations, and query logic.
5. Collaboration: Collaborate with crossfunctional teams, including database administrators, developers, and business analysts, to ensure seamless data migration.
6. Quality Assurance: Perform data quality checks and validation to ensure the accuracy of migrated data.
7. Performance Optimization: Identify and implement performance optimization strategies for SQL queries and data extraction processes.
