Your role as the Paid Media Strategist includes the strategy, setup, execution, and ongoing optimization of the paid media (SEM) efforts for Kuno and clients of Kuno.
Your goal is to help our clients build brand awareness, get found online, and capture and nurture leads to grow revenue.
You will work across a variety of channels such as search engines (Google, Yahoo, Bing) and social channels such as Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn to accomplish these goals. As a Strategist, you will be responsible for growing the revenues for this department by educating and assisting our sales team. You report to the Paid Media Director.
Responsibilities
- Create and implement custom pay-per-click (PPC) advertising strategy for each client based on analysis of their industry, competitors, and individual marketing objectives;
- Draft, build and launch PPC campaigns and make recommendations for copywriting and design for ads, CTAs, and landing pages;
- Assess account KPIs regularly and optimize campaigns to effectively utilize media budget while achieving client goals;
- Leverage HubSpot reporting tools for analyzing results;
- Stay current with HubSpot, Google Analytics, and Google Ads Certifications
Requirements
Education & Training
Kuno uses HubSpot sales and marketing software for most clients. Experience with HubSpot is preferred. You will be given access to the HubSpot Academy online courses for ongoing training and education. During the first three months of employment, you will be asked to complete several video courses that provide certifications for a variety of topics that will help you have the most success in this position. Most courses are composed of a few hours of watching videos followed by a short exam of around 50 multiple-choice questions. The certifications need to be renewed annually.
You will also be required to complete Google Ad training and certifications annually.
Job-Specific Requirements
- 3+ years experience in social media marketing/pay-per-click marketing with demonstrated successes
- Certifications in Google Ads and Analytics
- Experience working with popular social media advertising platforms found in Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn in particular
- Experience working with pay-per-click platforms, in particular Google Ads
- Experience working with popular social media management tools (TweetDeck, HootSuite)
- Experience with website analysis using a variety of analytics tools including Google Analytics as well as internal reporting tools
