A leading provider of software development and remote infrastructure management services in Sri Lanka is looking for a Web Application Firewall Operational Engineer to welcome to their team. Our client has built and managed some of the industry-leading, cloud-based learning platforms that serve millions of people across the world by using the latest technology. Their services include Software Architecture, Software Engineering, Quality Engineering, Technology Operations, Program and Project Management.

Profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in IT or equivalent
  
• Minimum 2 years of industry experience in relevant capacity
  
• Experience in AWS, Azure, GCP, Tier 3 network, and WAF support
  
• Strong AWS technical skills and Web Application Firewall experience
  
• Knowledge of Application Security vulnerabilities (OWASP top 10, SANS Top 25)
  
• Hands-on experience in DAST/SAST/SCA tools/ vulnerability management
  

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Support infrastructure, Cloud Security Engineering, and Automation initiatives
  
• Conduct research and support the development of information security policies, standards, procedures, and/or guidelines.
  
• Implement and maintain event management best practices
  
• Ensure the adoption and governance of standard operating procedures
