Summary:
In this role at Client, you will be assisting and supporting marketing efforts and sales needs across the Property and Casualty business line, with an emphasis on specialties, in support of overarching marketing goals. Your ability to handle various tasks at a time and exercise independent strategic discernment is needed to best align marketing and sales to meet the revenue goals for the company. Your social skills and demeanor give you the vital ability to produce positive relationships with colleagues and clients as well as outside vendors. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for understanding the business needs and developing strategic integrated marketing solutions to deliver results.
Responsible for execution of all recurring communications.
Responsible for handling the collection, creation and deployment of marketing materials utilizing the creative and meetings/event teams in the marketing department.
Provide marketing support for specific meeting and training initiatives, coordinating closely with the teams responsible for event management and training development/delivery.
Provides as-needed assistance on high-level corporate initiatives.
Collaboration across multiple stakeholders across marketing as well as client support
Collaboration with sales enablement in development of materials and prospect marketing to align with sales goals.
Execution of national external communications where applicable to targeted clients
Development and execution of cross-product campaigns including cross-sell with existing clients and lead generation with prospects
Day-to-day sales support including presentations and materials
Marketing support for tradeshows and webinars, coordinating closely with the teams responsible for event management and training development/delivery
Additional projects in support of corporate goals as needed.
Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities:
1-3 years of marketing/communications experience
P&C and Specialty industry knowledge
Experience in marketing plan/strategy/timeline development
Understanding of the sales/lead nurturing process and how marketing fits into that structure
Familiarity/experience with a broad range of tools:
o SalesForce (or similar CRM)
o Pardot (or similar marketing automation platform)
o Marketing Library/Content Management System
Tradeshow and industry sponsorship marketing management
General project management
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
Education and/or Experience:
A Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field.
