Job description

Title: SAP Information Architect

Start Date: ASAP

Rate: $market

Duration: 3 months with a strong likelihood of extension

Location: Remote

Description: Client has an available contract opportunity for an SAP Information Architect. The client is extracting data from SAP to Snowflake. They need an SAP Information Architect to understand S/4 source tables, corresponding CDS views, and define source-to-target mapping from SAP to a resolved data model.

Role and Responsibilities:

· Review reporting requirements and source tables in S4

· Understand and propose available CDS views for various functional areas (SD, FI, PP, MM)

· Work with interface team to access CDS views, their corresponding entity sets that can be used for consumption into Snowflake.

· Define mapping from staged S/4 tables into curated and resolved foundation layer

· Define any testing plans and validation requirements

Experience Required:

· Working with source data from SAP S/4, Master Data, CDS views

· Good functional knowledge and understanding of various SAP areas – SD, FI, MM, PP, IM

· Attention to detail and willingness to highlight blocking issues and proactively mitigate issues and deliver solutions

· Strong communication

· Nice to have: Working in Snowflake landscape and basic knowledge of SQL

· Nice to have: Working with Mulesoft and API integration for data ingestion

· Nice to have: Familiarity with Sprint/Agile processes and planning
